We are building a more diverse, skilled, and international Finland by advancing breakthroughs in culture, education, and science
Since 2011, the Alfred Kordelin Foundation and the Office of the President of the Republic of Finland have organised summer sculpture exhibitions in the Kultaranta garden. Beginning next summer, the exhibitions will be presented in cooperation with WAM Turku City Art Museum.
The New Classics fund will be open for applications once again in September 2025. New Classics grants are awarded in alternate years to artists working in performance and visual arts, and in this application round the grants will go to the performing arts.
The Alfred Kordelin Foundation’s August grant call closed on Sunday, August 31, at 4:00 p.m. The Foundation received a total of 2,290 applications: 334 in science, 1573 in the arts, and 383 in public education. We warmly thank all applicants.
